We had an inquiry today from a customer in Idaho. She wanted to know if our urns can be made into self contained fountains. Most of our fountains are shown set up on disappearing fountain systems. Almost all of our urns can be made into self contained fountains. We make them to work both ways. Self contained urns are made two different ways. The most popular way we make them is the pump & light are both inside of the urn. The water plumes out from the top of the urn from a copper pipe and falls back into the urn, it does not flow outside of the urn. This makes for one of our loudest fountains. If you want more sound keep the water level low, if you want it quiet fill the urn up. You can see an example of this style urn fountain on our ceramic fountain page on this web-site. The video of the Colorado urn shows it.
The second way to create a self contained urn fountain is to set the urn inside of a water bowl of some kind. It can be a planter or any container that holds at least 4'' of water. You can see these on our patio and deck fountain page. We also do custom designs of all kinds. Over the last nearly 20 years we have made just about anything you could come up with. Give us a call.
